Not quite a metre

Finally after a month of stuffing around with pesky sharks I landed a fat 98cm kingfish.

Water was warmer, current was strong and bait was very nervous.

After spending the first 40 minutes looking for bait I paddled wider to the bombie and got drilled       straight into the reef. Loaded up the second yakka and almost immediately felt the lining peeling away to find another decent shark on the end of the line, for the second cut-off. I loaded the 3rd yakka and headed wider towards a massive bait school where I managed to land a 98cm king. All in all the fight took 6 minutes
